Meredith Mantik is an editor based in Los Angeles, California.

She has edited four narrative features, five documentary features, and numerous short films. Her documentary ALICE IS STILL DEAD won Best Autobiographical Documentary at DOC LA Film Festival, and her most recent narrative feature, DOWNEAST, was distributed by Gravitas Ventures. She was awarded the Women in Film Editing Fellowship in 2023.

For the past few years, Meredith has worked as first assistant editor to Academy-Award-nominated editor Jay Cassidy, ACE on VERITY (Amazon MGM Studios), POETIC LICENSE (Jewelbox Pictures), KILLER HEAT (Amazon MGM Studios), and THE BURIAL (Amazon MGM Studios). Her other editorial department credits include the BAFTA-winning series EXODUS: OUR JOURNEY TO EUROPE (BBC Two), YOUNG ROCK (NBC), and FACES OF DEATH (Legendary Entertainment, IFC Films). 

Meredith studied Creative Writing at Idyllwild Arts Academy, holds a BA in English, Film, and Philosophy from Colorado College, and, upon graduating with distinction from the UK’s prestigious National Film and Television School's Editing MA course, received an AVID Excellence in Editing Award for her work on SWEET MADDIE STONE. SWEET MADDIE STONE won Best British Short Film at London Critics’ Circle Awards and Best Short Film of the Year at the ODEON Film Awards, among many other accolades.
